well what could i say...
the play was not bad, it had all the possible performance techniques.
Before we entered the theatre two actors divided the audience in two lines one had a sticker that said home sweet home and the other one said go home. I didnt understand what was its purpose, as we entered the theatre both groups were sitted on different sides of the theatre.
The music was been played a live and interactuaba with the actors, they communicated back and forth. It started with a monologue which i didnt fully understood, i think it had something to do with a boy leaving his house because his father didnt want him to go to war. The five actors represented one character at a time, even though they were enough to divide the characters, they didnt.
As the actors played the boy, they stand in a diagonal line and acted in unison, the same actions. This made it emphasied the actions of the boy.
The play was in spanish, spanish from spain.
The actors mixed with the audience and made us fight with each other. The group that had the sticker of home sweet home had to scream to the other “team” of go home and the one group that screamed stgronger won.
The actors explained to us that we were like cows in a farm, we do what we are told. We sitted were they told us to and did what they told as to do.
I think it was good to mix with the audience because it Wole me up, because i was falling asleep.
The performance techniques were so good that made the play obvious and boring.
there's a fine description
ReplyDeletenow where are the analysis, explanation and interpretation of the different elements of the play
and where are the evaluation and reflection that derive from those?
and where is the relationship with your own process?
and where is your final question?
